Due to the recent water outage, which occurred on 6/22/24, the State Water Resources Control Board, Division of Drinking Water, the County of Kern County Health Department, and the Victory Mutual Water System are advising residents of the Victory Mutual Water System to only use boiled tap water or bottled water for drinking and cooking purposes as a safety precaution to avoid stomach or intestinal illness. The affected area includes Shirly Lane to Redbank Road east of Fairfax.
