The Victory Mutual Water Company Water System and State Water Resources Control Board have announced that the Boil Water Notice has been lifted that was in place for residents of the Victory Mutual Water System in the area of Shirly Lane to Redbank Road east of Fairfax in Bakersfield.

After comprehensive testing, it has been determined that the water is safe to drink and cook with.

It is no longer necessary for residents to boil their tap water or to consume bottled water.
