Examination
Appraisal (Weight 100%): Will be conducted for the purpose of evaluating the applicant's training, education, experience, interest and personal fitness for the position. Appraisal can be based on any of the following: Investigation, oral examination and/or review of application.
Applicants must attain at least a 70% score on each phase of the examination process.
Minimum Qualifications / Employment Standards

Graduation from an accredited school of physical therapy.

Current license as Physical Therapist issued by the State of California, Department of Consumer Affairs, Physical Therapy Board of California.

Possession of a valid California Motor Vehicle Driver's License at the time of appointment.

Possess and maintain a current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) card.

New graduates of schools of Physical Therapy who have filed an application for registration may be employed under the supervision of a Registered Physical Therapist pending qualification in the next State examination.
